Transmission poles

All our transmission poles are treated according to SANS 754 standards and clearly marked with treatment level and length so that the customer is ensured of quality. Transmission poles go through a very strict grading process and the penetration of treatment is also deeper than that of standard CCA treated poles. Transmission poles are pressure treated with creosote after which they undergo a drying process to rid the poles of excess creosote.

The government and municipalities mainly use transmission poles for power lines and telephone cables, but there is the occasional contractor that has projects where these poles are specified as the preferred / required stock. We do keep stock on our premises of the popular sizes and we are able to acquire up to 18m lengths. Price is subject to quantity required, so please contact us to enquire about pricing, and we will supply you with the transmission poles you need.
